Emerald Enigma Smoothie
Whip up an Emerald Enigma Smoothie for a super quick breakfast. It's thick, creamy, and a great way to sneak in some greens without tasting them.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2 medium bananas
- 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ice cubes
Instructions
- Wash 2 cups fresh spinach thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Set aside.
- Peel 2 medium bananas. You can break them into smaller pieces to facilitate blending.
- Add 2 cups spinach, 2 peeled bananas, 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks, 1 cup plain yogurt, 1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon honey, 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 8 ice cubes into a powerful blender.
- Blend all ingredients on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add 0.25 cup more milk until your desired consistency is reached.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if desired, though the honey and fruits should provide ample natural sweetness. Pour the Emerald Enigma Smoothie evenly into four serving glasses.
- Serve immediately, garnishing each glass with a few fresh spinach leaves and a thin slice of banana for an appealing presentation.
