Wholesome Berry Nectar
Whip up this berry nectar recipe in 5 minutes flat. It's thick, fruity, and just what you need for a quick breakfast or a cool afternoon drink.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (250 grams) mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 0.75 cup (180 ml) plain yogurt
- 0.75 cup (180 ml) water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional, to taste)
Instructions
- Wash 2 cups (250 grams) mixed berries thoroughly under cold water and gently pat them dry.
- Place the washed 2 cups mixed berries, 0.75 cup (180 ml) plain yogurt, 0.75 cup (180 ml) water, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice into a blender.
- Add 2 tablespoons honey to the blender if you prefer a sweeter nectar. Adjust the amount of honey according to your taste preference.
- Blend all the ingredients on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no large berry chunks remaining.
- Taste the nectar and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed by adding a little more honey or lemon juice.
- Pour the berry nectar into four individual serving glasses. Garnish each glass with 2-3 fresh whole berries and a small sprig of fresh mint leaves on the rim. Serve immediately.
