Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • .5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for dough)
  • .75 cup milk
  • .5 cup pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • .5 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
  • .25 cup sliced red onion
  • .25 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • .5 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon sugar, and 0.5 teaspoon salt.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil (for dough) and 0.75 cup milk to the dry ingredients. Mix with a spoon until a shaggy dough forms. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface.
  3. Carefully transfer the rolled dough to the prepared pizza pan. Brush the edges of the dough with 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing) for a crispier crust.
  4. Spread 0.5 cup pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a 0.5-inch border for the crust. Sprinkle 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange 0.5 cup sliced bell peppers (any color), 0.25 cup sliced red onion, and 0.25 cup sliced black olives over the cheese. Top with the remaining 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano.
